ScholarlyA Second Temple Aramaic pseudepigraphon known as the 'Visions of Amram' (Qumran manuscripts 4Q543-549) presents itself as the testament of Amram, father of Moses and Aaron, addressing his children. It is a later work built around the biblical figure, not evidence of the man himself, but it shows his prominence in early Jewish tradition.
