Titus

Titus, another of the Pastoral Epistles, was written to Paul's coworker left in charge of the churches on the island of Crete. Paul instructs him to appoint qualified elders, to silence false teachers, and to teach 'what accords with sound doctrine' to every group in the church.

Running through the letter is the link between grace and godliness: the grace of God 'training us to renounce ungodliness' and to live upright lives while awaiting Christ's appearing (2:11–13). Short and practical, Titus is about ordering the church and adorning the gospel with a transformed life.
